In Solid Form (Ghanjeevamrut) – Spread directly to field. It can be used for 6-8 months.

Advantages of Jeevamrut:

1)    Acts as an agent to increase the microbial count & friendly bacteria in the soil.
2)    Improves pH of the soil.
3)    Jeevamrut can be made within 4-5 days so it can be used effectively and frequently.
4)    Suitable for all crops and increases the yield.
5)    Reduces costs of chemical fertilizers.
6)  Earthworm count increases in the soil. Earthworm helps to keep soil quality porous which has a higher water holding capacity.
7)    Improves aeration, bring up minerals from deep in the field.

It is beneficial to do a live mulching along with the Jeevamrut application. Mulching will help the earthworms to work in the soil till upper most layer bringing more porosity and minerals till the surface.

Note: Cow urine (Gomutra) should not be store in metal vessel. It can be store in plastic barrel/can. Jeevamrut is prepared from animal remains and it is fermented liquid, so it has bad smell. But then also it is most beneficial for crops as well as farmers.

  1. Thanks for that. I used human urine instead as I do not have access to cow urine easy. Also use a little aquirium pump to aerate. To lazy to stir 10 minutes.
